Cemetery, Hop-House Tours In Oneonta This Week

Attention, local history buffs!
Historian Lynn Bissell will conduct a walking tour of Riverside Cemetery, which contains the graves of many of Oneonta's founding families, at 6 p.m. this Wednesday, sponsored by the Greater Oneonta Historical Society.
Meet behind First Presbyterian Church, 296 Main St. (Part II, focusing on more recent families, is planned the following Wednesday.)
At 4 p.m. Saturday, hop historian Al Bullard will conduct a hop-house tour. Meet at 4 p.m. at 252 Lower Reservoir Road, the home of GOHS members Bill and Molly Swain.
Tours at $2 for historical society members.
